What are the specific products/services that you offer?: ACD plans to offer its services in 3 main forms:; Complete turn key bid package - includes complete take-off of desired trade(s) plus personalized information about the project.

Subscription based bid packages - offer a number of projects to subscribers (updated daily - arond 25-30 projects per month/ per state);

And finally, we offer Consulting & Project Management for specific projects as well as construction software, accounting tools, documentation, etc. tailored for your specific business needs. The price will depend upon the particular service offered.

Are you offering any construction software at this time?: No! But we plan to. However, we do offer consulting for the specific needs (in terms of available software products, estimation and take off tools, accounting, bidding process, project management, etc.) of the construction industry in general, the small construction businesses (contracting / su bcontracting) in particular.

How can I be sure that the take off is accurate? Is there any guarantee for it?: All plans are measured and reviewed by at least two estimators. Therefore, we strive to produce take offs as accurately as possible. Of course, our main incentive for that is our desire to win your trust and business, to convince you to become a repeat customer. Saying that, however, we do not have any liability insurance in place. Please read our terms of use for more information. If the service we are offering proves to be defective or incomplete, we are obliging ourselves either to re perform the service or to refund the amount paid by buyer for the defective service.

What is the actual way in which I get the information?: We can send it to you in a nice packet especially created for your company, or, once you become our customer, you can access it directly by logging on our website using our secure system. Once you paid for the project of your choice, you will be provided with a password and you will be given access to the requested project.

What if addenda are issued after I got the service?: Our website will post updated information for all the projects. If the released addenda/ addendum is affecting your trade, upon logging on our website at your specific project, you will find the updated take off values reflecting the latest changes.

What if I have questions regarding my take off?: You can always call us at our office number and one of our representatives will be happy to assist you.

Can you do take offs for some of OUR plans?: We would be happy to. Depending on the size of project, the turnaround is from 3 days to a week. Of course, the price in this case would be higher, depending on the size and complexity of the project.

Are the plans you are offering in your bidding packet at scale? Can we get plans at scale?: No, the plans are usually not at scale (except for some details where the scale is specifically indicated). However, we will be able to offer at scale plans soon, at a very reasonable price (that is to say, cheaper than the competition). We can also provide you with digital copies of the plans if you so desire.

Are you selling take offs to our competitors too?: Yes, that's how we manage to keep our prices so low. For plans we get from you, we only perform the service for you.

How long have you been in this business?: We have been in the construction industry for more than 15 years as a Subcontractor first and as general contractor afterwards. Since we have experienced all the difficulties that a small subcontractor need to face, we could anticipate the immense benefit a service of providing fast, reliable and complete information about construction projects would provide. That's why we started this company in the first place. While ACD's idea has been around for some time, we incorporated as a separate company in early 2004.
